FairMormon is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing well-documented answers to criticisms of LDS doctrine, belief and practice.
My name is Erik Slack and I live in San Antonio, Texas. I'm seventeen years old and I've been ordained as a Priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints. I work at Wendy's to pay the bills and so that I can save up money for college and a mission. My favorite thing to do is hang out with my family; I've five brothers or sisters and several darling neices and nephews. Playing video games has always been my first hobby, reading is second, and web design makes a close third.
How did I get started with FAIR? Well, I went to their conference and learned a lot. I became really excited about the work that these people do and wanted to pitch in. Since I'm just a kid, I wasn't sure I'd be of any use to anybody, so I started pondering about how I could contribute and eventually I joined with Fair to help build a Youth Fair. I'm really excited about YFair and I see great potential for good in it. I feel my saviors love for me and I hope I can share that with others through my work here. I feel priveleged to be a part of this great cause.
